Blue Hill Colleg (BHC) started in 1997, when a group of business leaders and scholars realized how important it was to have a local institution of higher education with a global perspective.

They decided to start a college compatible with the USA credit system, which would work on the general studies format, where students are able to select their career after the second year of studies.
